Monday looks partly cloudy with a 40% chance of a thunderstorm and a high of 88. Tuesday we have an 80% chance of rain and thunderstorms as a front moves through. Drier air comes in Wednesday with clearing skies and then Sunshine through Friday, lovely weather! We go back to a 50% chance of thunderstorms by The Weekend.

Thunderstorms were quite active on Sunday afternoon with a few trees blown down between Roane County and Knox County, they also produced over two inches of rain in some areas. Typical pop-up afternoon thunderstorms in the summer which can get pretty intense! Another storm in the Alpine community of Overton County produced three quarters of an inch of rain.
