There have been reports of multiple vehicle accidents today in Cumberland County.  A two-vehicle crash off Highway 127 N in front of Shoney’s, closed the highway for around an hour. Two were transported to UT Medical.

A vehicle ran off the roadway of Northside Drive shortly after. The driver claimed an SUV was in her lane and when she went to swerve, she landed in the ditch. (pictured)

Reports of a tractor-trailer ran off the roadway in front of Cracker Barrel on Highway 127 North.

A multi-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Industrial Blvd. and Old Jamestown Highway around 2:15.

Roadways are wet so please use caution. It’s harder to control or stop your vehicle on a slick road.
