THURSDAY’S 5 DAY FORECAST

A Flood Watch is in effect from midnight tonight through Thursday morning for a portion of Middle Tennessee.
Hazardous Weather Outlook: Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday morning through Friday. The storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, and repeated rounds of storms over the same areas may lead to localized flooding. A few strong to severe storms will be possible with damaging winds and large hail being the main threats.
Thursday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between noon and 3pm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 82. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Thursday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then a chance of showers between 7am and 10am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
