The Maryville Police Department made an arrest in a fatal stabbing case.

Officers responded to a home this week on Southview Drive following a 911 call. Police found 74-year-old John Salvati Jr. and John Salvati III suffering from stab wounds.

Both victims sustained several stab wounds.

Salvati Jr. died from his injuries.

Salvati III is recovering from the attack.

Authorities arrested 24-year-old Bryan Terence Noble.

He was charged with homicide and attempted homicide.

A motive for the stabbing was not initially released.
