FLAGGER STRUCK BY VEHICLE ON KNOXVILLE HIGHWAY IN MORGAN COUNTY

A flagger sustained injuries after being hit by an automobile in Morgan County.
The report released today by the Tennessee Highway Patrol states a 2009 Toyota Rav4 driven by 79-year-old Ruth Cravens was traveling last Wednesday on the 5900 block of Knoxville Highway.
She hit 36-year-old Aaron E. Pennington working at the scene.
The impact caused Pennington to go airborne and land about 20 feet from where he was standing.
Cravens came to a stop after the impact.
Pennington was treated for injuries sustained in the incident.
