The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team along with Loudon County deputies and state troopers took 37-year-old Brandon Howard of Dallas, Georgia into custody in Loudon early this morning for active warrants related to a homicide in Dallas, Georgia.

Through the use of a phone ping and Flock cameras, Howard was located at a residence in the 300 block of Get Good Hollow Road in Loudon. Officers took Howard into custody following a short pursuit as Howard attempted to leave the residence upon the deputy’s arrival.

Howard is being held at the Loudon County Detention Center pending extradition back to Georgia.
