TORNADO OUTBREAK LEAVES DESTRUCTION IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE

The National Weather Service continues to survey damage from a deadly tornado outbreak Saturday in middle Tennessee.
In Davidson County, the Madison area was hit hardest. At least 3 people were killed. At least 22 structures collapsed with countless other structures significantly damaged.
A power substation in Hendersonville in Sumner County and north Nashville received significant damage. Many customers in Hendersonville will be without electricity for days. A preliminary report showed an F-2 tornado with winds of up to 125 miles per hour hit.
In Montgomery County, 3 people were killed when an F-3 tornado with winds of 150 miles per hour tore through the Clarksville area. At least two dozen were injured.
Damage has been reported in Davidson, Montgomery, Robertson, and Sumner Counties, with Davidson, Montgomery County, and Sumner County officials declaring a State of Emergency.
