TEMA DEPLOYS RESCUE TEAMS TO SOUTH CAROLINA

Tennessee is stepping up to help South Carolina as Tropical Storm Debby moves east after a deadly Category 1 hurricane hit Florida.
The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) deployed two Type II Swiftwater Rescue Teams to South Carolina as the coastal region faces record-setting rain and flooding.
Hurricane Debby reached the Florida coast early Monday. The storm is expected to continue Northeast towards Georgia and the Carolinas. Currently, over 300,000 were reported to be without power in Florida and Georgia on Monday.
Hurricane Debby is expected to stall off the coast of South Carolina tomorrow with a possibility for major flooding, and up to 20 inches of rain for the city of Charleston this week.
