Officer Kyle Lowry was presented with an Officer of the Month award at this morning’s day shift roll call.
Officer Lowry was recognized for his comprehensive preliminary investigation into a shooting that seriously injured a woman at an area motel in late April.
He was also recognized for his outstanding follow-up investigation into a rash of car burglaries that happened at a couple of West Knoxville hotels in late April. His work proved key for Property Crimes Unit detectives, who were ultimately able to identify a suspect in connection to those burglaries.
