DETOURS WILL BE IN PLACE ON INTERSTATE DRIVE AND OLD JAMESTOWN HIGHWAY MONDAY
Starting Monday, October 7, 2024, detours will be in place in the area of Old Jamestown Highway and Interstate Drive. Drive with caution in this area and avoid if possible. Storm drainage and grade work will be performed in this area. This work will take several weeks to complete.
Traffic on Old Jamestown Hwy from the south will be detoured onto Matherly St to Hwy 127 to Interstate Drive. Traffic on Interstate Drive will be detoured onto Hwy 127 to Matherly St to Old Jamestown Hwy. In addition, traffic on Dunn will not have access to or from Interstate Drive. The currently closed section of Old Jamestown Hwy (north side) will be reopened to access Interstate Drive but will have to follow the detour to continue south on Old Jamestown.
