Paul D. Kronau, 80
Paul D. Kronau, 80, of Crossville, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024,
following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Albany, New York, on April 10, 1944,
to Donald and Carol Kronau.
He was a graduate of Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, VA. He
was an electrical engineer for Robertshaw Controls until he retired in 2010.
Paul’s love of Christ led him to serving others and he was active in church
activities especially those aimed to feeding people. He was active in Tennessee
Lutheran Via de Cristo and made several mission trips to the Gulf Coast after
Hurricane Katrina and Mexico.
He was preceded in death by two wives: Helen Meade Kronau and Linda
Kronau.
He is survived by:
Daughters: Angela Kronau of Knoxville, Heather Pelfrey of Rockwood, Karen
Hurst (Joe) of Ball Ground, GA, Patti Caldwell (Jim) of Alger, MI, Cindy Sheriltz of
Plymouth, MI, and Son: Jeff (Mary) Anderson of Crossville.
Brother: Roger (Kathy) Kronau of Roanoke, VA.
Nieces: Kate and Kim Kronau of Roanoke, VA.
Cousin: Keith (Cathy) Hall of New York.
Grandchildren: Amanda (Colin) Brown, Alexandria (Austin) Aldana, Luke Hurst,
Bryanne Larkins, and Jimmy Scherlitz and great-grandchildren: Bohdi and Banks
Aldana, Declan and Finley Larkins, and Amelia Brown.
And many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at
Christ Lutheran Church, 481 Snead Dr, Fairfield Glade, TN. Pastor Lewis Groce
will officiate. Internment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will
receive friends during the reception in the church fellowship hall.
