MICHAEL DUNN CENTER AWARDED $616,140 GRANT

From the official Facebook page of the Michael Dunn Center:
“We have BIG NEWS that we have been sitting on for over a week! Michael Dunn Center was awarded a $616,140.00 Connected Community Facilities grant from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to build a digitally connected, inclusive playground! We couldn’t be more excited and honored that this playground, designed for people of all ages and abilities, will be located in the great City of Harriman! Our President/CEO Michaele Butler and Community Relations Coordinator, Courtney Nicole Briley, worked with the leadership in Harriman to make this dream a reality. Now with the funding from TNECD and the playground building skills of FunMakers, we are breaking ground! Thank you to all of our community supporters who stood by us and believed in this! Now, let’s start digging!!”
