Knoxville (November 25, 2024)—MEDIC Regional Blood Center will feature UT LIFESTAR Aeromedical Services at an upcoming blood drive. The blood drive will take place on November 30. Morristown residents can donate blood, tour the helicopter, and talk to UT LIFESTAR staff at the Colbach Harley Davidson (1830 North Davy Crockett Pkwy) from 9 AM to 3 PM.

MEDIC Regional Blood Center provides lifesaving blood products for UT LIFESTAR Aeromedical Services in the area. This collaboration allows residents to donate those lifesaving products while seeing the transport helicopter up close and asking the UT LIFESTAR staff questions.

Appointments for donations are preferred, but walk-in donors are welcome. Donors can call 865-524-3074 to schedule their appointment, visit medicblood.org/donate, or download the new MEDIC donor app to search for a drive closest to them and schedule their appointment.
