SEARCH PERFORMED ON WHITE HALL ST. HOME UNCOVERS METH AND FENTANYL

On Tuesday, while executing a search warrant at a house on White Hall Street on Delbert Smith, Deputies located a locked black metal safe sitting on the nightstand with miscellaneous items surrounding it in Smith’s bedroom. There were also several different types of paraphernalia found in this bedroom.
On the nightstand were several foldedup tin foils and inside one of them was a small ¼ pink pill known as naloxone. Seargent D. Jackson could see paraphernalia inside the safe from a small hole in the top of it. When Deputy Shawn Aytes asked Smith for the key, Smith said he did not own a safe and therefore did not have a key for it.
Once the safe was opened, two clear zip lock bags containing 73 grams of methamphetamine, a clear bag containing 1.62 grams of fentanyl, and a bag containing 4 grams of suspected marijuana, another clear bag containing a smaller blue zip lock bag with 4 whole pink pills, a half of a pill, and approximately a ¼ of a pill and two pouches of naloxone.
Also, inside the safe were digital weighing scales containing a crystal-like substance on them and bags.
There was also a large amount of miscellaneous jewelry inside the safe. All the jewelry was photographed and left.
Delbert Smith was placed into custody and transported to the Cumberland County Jail, charged with Mfg/Del/Sell/Poss of Fentanyl, Meth, and a Controlled Substance.
