$800 WORTH OF ITEMS STOLEN FROM RV ON RED ROAD

On Thursday Corporal Ryan Ashburn and Sergeant Dustin Jackson with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Red Road for a burglary. Upon arriving, the two came in contact with a man who owns the property. Currently, the man lives at Firehouse Road in Pocono Pines Pennsylvania, but is working on building a house in Cumberland County.
As of now, the man has a camper parked at the location for a place to stay when they travel back and forth as well as a place to live while the house is being built.
However, on Thursday the man noticed a storage door open under the fifth wheel hitch of his camper and when he inspected the door, he found items stolen from two separate storage compartments.
The stolen items include a 30-gallon propane tank valued at $200, a generator with power cords and adapters valued at $400, and an RV battery valued at $200.
Both compartments are the only ones not visible from the roadway.
There have been no suspects named at this time.
