FORMER LA VERGNE POLICE CHIEF ARRESTED FOR AGG. STALKING

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – The former police chief of the La Vergne Police Department was arrested on a warrant for aggravated stalking, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.

Burrel Davis was arrested Monday evening at an apartment complex in Murfreesboro.

MPD said Davis is accused of violating an order of protection. Officers arrested him without incident, according to MPD.

He was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.
