On Monday, a 2002 Buick Park Avenue driven by Melissa F. Harris was traveling north on Highway 127/South York Highway, North from Haley Road, with a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado driven by Sharon L. Grenville following behind with a 15-year-old passenger.

At the same time, a 2013 Kia Optima driven by Dalton T. Brown was traveling south on Highway 127.

Harris’s Buick crossed the center dividing line into the South Lane of Highway 127 and the left front of her vehicle struck the left front of Brown’s Kia in the southbound lane. The Kia then traveled into the northbound lane of 127 and struck Grenville’s Colorado.

Of the four people involved in the incident, Brown and Grenville would sustain injuries.

Harris would be charged with driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an injury crash.
