FAIRFIELD WOMAN HITS LIGHT POLE IN DOMINO’S PARKING LOT

On Friday, Nancyanne Welsh’s silver Hyundai Santa Fe was about to leave the Domino’s parking lot at 4929 Peavine Road. While leaving the parked position, she tried removing a small flag from her window, which is when she impacted a light pole in the parking lot.
Airbags deployed and the driver sustained possible minor injuries from the deployment. She was described in the CAD alert as bleeding from the mouth.
She refused transport by emergency medical services, although her car received disabling damage to the front and was leaking fluids. It would be towed from the scene by Express Automotive.
The support of the light pole was not damaged.
