On January 23rd, 2025, Deputy Elijah Tollett responded to the Dollar General located on Highway 70 East for a white 2010 Ford Ranger being stolen from the parking lot. Upon my arrival, he contacted the complainant who stated he was inside the store shopping for approximately 15 minutes when he noticed his truck had been taken.

He stated that he noticed a “shady” white male wearing a gray hoodie walking across the parking lot as he entered the store. The victim told the deputy that he left his cell phone and keys inside the vehicle before going in the store. Deputy Tollett viewed store video footage of
the vehicle leaving the parking lot, but was unable to see any identifiers on the suspect.

The deputy told the victim a report would be completed regarding the theft. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.
