MASSIVE HEIST ON HALSTEAD

On Saturday, Deputy Ronald Fields spoke to a woman about a possible civil dispute. After speaking with the caller, deputies agreed to meet her at her deceased son’s residence on Halstead Dr. Upon arrival, the caller began to tell the deputies that her son’s girlfriend had been living at the house since November when her son died. Up until Friday last week.
She had been evicted from the residence by the caller.
However, the girlfriend had a UHaul truck at the residence on a previous call and it was decided by Deputies that it was a civil dispute. The caller returned to the residence the day after Ms. Pankhurst moved out of the residence and she began taking inventory of the
residence.
The caller believes the girlfriend stole many of the items and had two vehicles put into her name that were owned by the caller’s deceased son.
The stolen items include laptops, video game systems, guns and ammunition, gun safes, kitchen appliances, tools, and much much more. The overall estimate of stolen goods is likely between $15,000 – $20,000.
Investigator Bo Krollos is familiar with the case and said he wanted to be assigned to it.
