MAN ARRESTED FOR CAR THEFT AND METH

Yesterday at around 2:17 p.m. Deputy Aidyn Smith made contact with a man named Daniel Marwin about a stolen green 1999 Honda CRV valued at around $3,000. The vehicle was left at a laundromat by the owner who was arrested and later located at his home on Apache trail with the ignition punched out of the vehicle.
Upon speaking to the vehicle owner, no one under any circumstances was supposed to have his vehicle.
Marwin admitted to moving the vehicle to Apache Trail where he then emptied the owner’s belongings at the residence before it ended up missing from his residence.
While taking Marwin into custody, he was found to have a pink and clear Tupperware container in his pocket that contained an off-white crystal-like substance believed to be meth weighing around 4 g. He was taken into custody and transported to Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office intake where he was charged with theft of property and felony possession of meth.
