William “Bill” Scott Adcock, Sr. age 78 of Murfreesboro formerly of Harriman passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at the Tennessee State Veterans Home. Bill proudly served in the US Army. He graduated from Harriman High School and MTSU where he received his bachelor’s degree in education and was assistant band director at Roane County High School in Kingston, TN. Bill was known for coaching the Harriman Junior Blue Devils “Hoppers” for 15 plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents John B. and Emmogene S. Adcock, brother John B. Adcock.

Survivors include:
Son Scott (Kristin) Adcock of Murfreesboro,
Daughter Beth Lee Scott of Murfreesboro,
Grandchildren Ansley Rush Adcock, Camryn Ashley Adcock, Ezra Jared Scott and Jackson Vaughn Scott.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 12:45 pm Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman, followed by a graveside service at the Emory Heights Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Adcock Family.
