TRAFFIC STOP FOR BROKEN HEADLIGHT TURNS INTO DUI ARREST

According to a report by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, On Saturday at around 1:50 a.m. Deputy Zachary early made a traffic stop on a pickup truck because the passenger side headlight was out. After contacting the driver, identified as Ronnie Wyllins, The deputy detected the smell of alcohol coming off of him.
The driver was also found to have red watery eyes and slurred speech. He said he had two beers and a shot of liquor about an hour before the deputy stopped him.
Wyllins failed sobriety tests and was taken to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department where a search warrant was granted for a blood draw. He would be charged with driving under the influence.
