Mary Ann Willis, age 73 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 9th, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1951, in Rockwood. Mary worked for years as a server in and around Roane County. She worked at the Peggy Ann Truck Stop, Wayne’s, and Waffle House to name just a few. She was a lover of animals, especially her cats and her dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank Brogdon & Betty Hackler Brogdon; and her sister: Helen Perry. She is survived by:

Daughter: Brenda Kay Poole

Grandchildren: Bradley Poole, Bridget Devaney, and Ashley Chambers

Several Great Grandchildren

Sisters: Carolyn Lee, Linda Beard, Barbara Rose, and Evelyn Franks

along with a host of other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Funeral service will follow with Bro. Bobby Lee officiating. Cremation arrangements have been made and a private interment will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mary Ann Willis.
