BRUSH FIRE SHUTS DOWN WHITE WING ROAD IN LOUDON COUNTY
LENOIR CITY, TENNESSEE – Emergency response teams, including deputies from the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, firefighters from the Loudon County Fire / Rescue, TN , and personnel from the Tennessee Division of Forestry, are currently on the scene of a rapidly spreading brush fire in the woodline near White Wing Road. The fire is threatening nearby structures, and crews are working diligently to contain it.
As a result, deputies have closed White Wing Road in the 1800 block to ensure public safety and allow emergency responders to do their work.
Authorities urge drivers to seek alternative routes, as fire crews are actively transporting water and equipment to the fire zone. Additionally, it is crucial for the public not to block White Wing Road, as this may hinder the efforts of the firefighters and emergency responders.
