BETTY “BERNICE” JONES, age 93 of Crossville, TN passed away April 3, 2025. She was born September 10, 1931 in Sylva, NC the daughter of Thomas W. and Laura B. Carson Johnson. She retired as a production worker with Crossville Ceramics and was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sisters- Ora B. Ashburn and Clara B. Hubbard both of Crossville, TN and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Floyd Richard Jones, brothers- Arvil H. Johnson, Arnold M. Johnson, William E. Johnson and Wentfred Johnson and sisters- Margie Johnson Lance, Mattie Johnson Sherrill, Venice Collins, Alean Lewis and Joyce Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 7, 2025 at 1pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11am-1pm two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Tollett’s Chapel Cemetery.
