BEAR SPOTTED IN SWEETWATER PROMPTS WARNING FROM POLICE
From Sweetwater Police Department:
**BEAR ALERT** Please be advised that a bear has been spotted in the area of **Mayes Avenue & North Main Street**.
We are currently working with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) to monitor the situation and safely relocate the bear.
Important Safety Reminders:
* **Do NOT approach the bear.**
* **Do NOT feed the bear under any circumstances.**
* Stay alert and keep a safe distance if you are in the area.
