Bobby “Bob” George Clark, 85

Sharp – Bobby “Bob” George Clark, age 85 went home to be with the LORD on July 6, 2025. He passed away with his family by his side.
Bob was the oldest child of three siblings born to Cecil and Sally Clark-Hedgecock. He was a resident of Claxton, TN. He is preceded in death by his father Cecil Clark, mother Sally Clark-Hedgecock, his stepfather Glen Hedgecock and brother Benny Clark. Grandparents, Bessie and Elijah Clark and Bethany and Pryor Patterson.
Bob leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Helen “Louise” Clark and their children daughter Bobbie Sweet and son-in-law Wayne Sweet, their sons George Clark, Ronnie Clark and Roger Clark.
Bob leaves behind 8 grandchildren, Nick Sweet and wife Becca Sweet, Brandon Sweet and wife Beth Sweet, Brady Sweet and wife Shelby Sweet, Brandi Brimer and husband Daniel Brimer, Chase Clark, Cameron Clark, Eli Clark and Logan Robinson.
He also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren, Hailey Koons, Bentley Sweet, Aubree Sweet, Lauren Sweet, Aria Sweet, Colt Sweet, Dalton Sweet, Charlie Sweet, Joey Sweet and a 10th great-grandchild due in November 2025 (Drake Brimer).
He is survived by his sister Betty Cooper and brother-in-law Ray Clyde Cooper and niece Pamela Rohde and nephew Ray Jr. Cooper.
Bob was a retired machinist for Boeing, Oak Ridge.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the Angels (staff) at Diversicare, Oak Ridge that took great care of him in his final days, your kindness made such a difference during this most difficult time.
There will be a “Celebration of Life Service” held at Sharp Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Garvan Walls of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church officiating. The family will gather with friends following the service. Bob will be laid to rest at Woodhaven Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN.
