MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH ON I-75 IN BRADLEY COUNTY

On July 14, 2025, at approximately 9:42 AM CDT, a multi-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 75 Southbound in Bradley County, Tennessee, at mile marker 21.4. This incident has caused significant traffic disruptions, with the southbound lanes completely closed and the left lane of the northbound side (out of two lanes) also blocked.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is on the scene assisting with traffic control, as reported by Rae Anne of TDOT on Twitter.

The crash has resulted in injuries, though specific details about the number of vehicles involved, the extent of injuries, or the cause of the crash are not yet fully available.

The closure of all southbound lanes and the partial blockage of the northbound side at mile marker 21.4 is causing severe congestion in the area. The full closure of the southbound lanes is likely forcing vehicles to be detoured, potentially onto nearby roads which may not be equipped to handle the sudden influx of traffic.

This could lead to significant delays for commuters, commercial vehicles, and travelers in the region.
