In the evening hours of Monday, July 14th, while serving a high-risk warrant, one suspect is in custody following a foot pursuit in the area of Turnpike Road.

Agents with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations seized approximately 31 grams of Fentanyl poison, multiple handguns, a large quantity of cash currency and other items believed to have been aided in the resale of Fentanyl within the Monroe County community.
