Edward “Ed” Jones age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2025.
Ed was born in Crossville, Tennessee to Fred Jones and Elsie Elmore Jones on June 9, 1950, where he lived much of his life.
Mr. Jones owned and operated a service station in Crossville for 55 years before retiring. Many cars in the Cumberland County area were serviced and fixed by Mr. Jones, creating friendships that lasted long after the service station closed. Ed was a simple man who loved fixing cars, watching the Vols play football, and his family.
Preceding Mr. Jones in death are his parents, brothers; Owen Jones, Faron Jones, Jackie Jones and a sister, Carolyn Jones.
Ed is survived by his children Miranda (Ryan) Hurd, and Jeff (Melissa) Jones.
Grandchildren: Michael Hurd and Emily Cope.
