Luther T. Miller, age 85, was born on September 7, 1939 to Joe Westley and Nora Bell Jenkins Miller and passed away on July 28, 2025. He was born and raised in Cumberland County and served his country in the Army and National Guard. He worked at UT Farms in Crossville and Crossville Rubber for over 30 years. Luther enjoyed spending time with family, travelling and gardening and working on the land. He gave his life to God on October 31, 1973 and has been faithful to God and his belief in Jesus Christ as his Saviour. He loved to read his Bible, go to church and work on church projects. He was a Baptist and attended Faith Baptist Church. He loved his church family- Pastor Jonathan England, his wife, Shannon, their sons, Max and Gus, and many wonderful brothers and sisters in the church. Luther is survived by his sister- Willie Long, daughters- Kay Miller Boniol and husband James, Helen Enita Leenerts, Jackie Bradley and husband Jerry, Doris Sherman and husband EC, and Lorrie Phipps. He had grand daughters, Barbara Hassler Parrott and husband Steve and Atina and Niki Leenarts and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife- Mary Frances Miller, sister- Maddie Taylor, and brothers- Clifford, Norman, Oscar, James and Ely Miller. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:00am at Faith Baptist Church with service to follow at 11:00am. Pastor Jonathan England will officiate. He will be buried in Crossville City Cemetery beside his wife, Mary Frances Miller. He will be lovingly and greatly missed by his family and friends.
