LANE CLOSURES ON I-40 AND HIGHWAY 70 IN ROANE COUNTY

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Markers 350 and 347: On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, through Thursday,
September 11, 2025, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. as
crews perform roadside clearing activities. Motorists should be alert for workers present, slow or stopped traffic, and use
extreme caution through this area.
ROANE COUNTY, US 70/ SR 1 between SR 326 and Loudon County Line: Motorists should be alert for possible daily
lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform roadway resurfacing activities. Motorists should
be alert for workers present, expect potential delays, and use extreme caution through this resurfacing project.
