FORMER TN TECH STUDENT FROM OAK RIDGE PLEADS GUILTY TO SEXUAL BATTERY

The Herald Citizen reports that Blaise Daniel Ochs, a 21-year-old former Tennessee Tech student from Oak Ridge, pleaded guilty to sexual battery in Putnam County Criminal Court on Tuesday, stemming from an incident on Halloween 2022.
According to the November 2024 indictment by the Putnam County Grand Jury, Ochs unlawfully and knowingly engaged in non-consensual sexual contact with a victim, causing bodily injury, while aware or having reason to know of the lack of consent. He was sentenced to two years of probation and is eligible for judicial diversion.
