Hunters, it’s almost here—the archery-only deer season and fall turkey season kick off this Saturday, Sept. 27!
Season Dates�:
Archery Deer: Sept. 27–Oct. 24 & Oct. 27–Nov. 7� Archery Turkey: Sept. 27–Oct. 24 & Oct. 27–Nov. 7� Shotgun/Archery Turkey: Oct. 11–24Turkey season is open in all counties except Crockett, Dyer, Giles, Haywood, Lake, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Lincoln, Shelby, Tipton, and Wayne.
With 100+ WMAs and refuges open across the state—and plenty of private land opportunities (with landowner permission)—this fall is packed with hunting adventures.
