Willie Mae “Midge” Watson, age 89, of Crossville, TN, passed away at her home on September 29, 2025.

Mrs. Watson was born on October 5, 1935, in Crossville, TN, daughter of the late Ernest Wilbur Brookhart and Clara Mae (Kearley) Brookhart.

Midge was a receptionist for a law office prior to retirement and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for many years.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Ray Potter (Melinda); daughters, Sharon Potter, Karon Foster (David), Sandra Thomasson (Steven), and Linda Watson Miller; grandchildren, Alicia DeFalco, Jeremy Kerley, Joseph Kerley, Jesse Kerley, Allison Gray, Zachary Miller, Bruce Foster, and Jeremy Foster; great grandchildren, Jacob Kerley, Audree Shelton, Justin Kerley, Ophelia DeFalco, and Karsyn Kerley; great-great grandchildren, Cora Mae Kerley and Delilah June Shelton; sisters, Betty Maguire and June Smith.

In addition to her parents, Midge is preceded in death by her husband, David Quentin Watson; children, Robert Dale Potter and David Watson; sister, Ara Belle Hall; and brother, Roy Hurshel Brookhart.

Funeral Service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Hyder Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service.
