Graveside Funeral Services for Joyce Bivens Capehart, age 72, of Wilder, Tennessee, will be conducted on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Capehart Family Cemetery. Bro. Mike Kirby will officiate. Mrs. Capehart was born on Thursday, February 5, 1953, in Vonore, Tennessee, to the late J.D. and Artie Duncan Bivens. Mrs. Capehart passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Capehart was a seamstress and had worked with Renfro Corp. in Cleveland, Tennessee. She loved the outdoors, animals, being in the woods, nature, and gardening but more than anything she loved her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Capehart of Wilder, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel and Nicole Capehart of Crawford, TN; grandchildren, Breanna and Dakota Capehart; and sister, Mary “Kathy” Bivens of Vonore, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Beulah, Betty, Lola, Walter, Junior, and Carl.
