TWO DEAD IN DEKALB COUNTY SHOOTING IDENTIFIED
In Baxter, Tennessee, a tragic shooting in DeKalb County left 68-year-old Karen Carter and her 29-year-old son Ceil Martindale dead, with another person injured, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 800 block of Vickers Ridge Road around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday following reports of gunfire, which stemmed from an altercation involving three people near the road.
The injured individual was airlifted to a nearby hospital, and the TBI and DCSO are actively investigating the incident.
