MISSING 14-YEAR-OLD KNOXVILLE GIRL FOUND IN BLOUNT COUNTY
The Knoxville Police Department announced on Tuesday that a 14-year-old girl who had been reported missing from her East Knoxville home on Green Valley Drive since the night of November 14 was located safe in Blount County that morning.
Described as 5’5” tall, weighing 130 pounds, and having black and blue hair, the teen had previously run away to a residence in East Knox County. Detectives had sought the public’s assistance in finding her on Monday and urged anyone with information to contact East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers.
Authorities noted that nearly 400 people are reported missing in Tennessee each year and encouraged the public to review lists of missing persons from East Tennessee to help locate others.
