Funeral Services for Diana Vanderpool, age 83, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Betty Abbott will officiate with interment to follow in the Whittaker Cemetery. Ms. Vanderpool was born on Saturday, May 2, 1942, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late William Frank Callahan Sr. and Marie Parker Callahan. Ms. Vanderpool passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at The Waters of Smyrna. Ms. Vanderpool was a bus driver retiring from Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority. She is survived by her daughter, Caralee Ferguson of Kentucky; sons, Anthony Vanderpool of Nashville, TN, and Steven Vanderpool of Nashville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister, Jeanne Park of Springfield, TN; and brothers, James “Bubba” (Vickie) Callahan of Donelson, TN, and Pat Callahan of Cookeville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Vanderpool; son, Robert Vanderpool; grandson, Elijah Vanderpool; great grandson, Tyler Vanderpool; sister, Kathy Chambliss; and brother, Bill Callahan.
