Dennis Matthew Lawson, age 24, of Philadelphia, TN, passed away peacefully at his home

on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Dennis brought joy and laughter to those around him.

He loved watching Blue’s Clues and Tom and Jerry “Cat and Mouse”, spending time with his

“friend in the mirror,” playing his guitar, singing his music, and sharing his love with his

family. His gentle spirit and bright smile will be deeply missed.

Dennis is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dennis McConnell, Paul Lawson, and

Carolyn Lawson.

He is survived by his loving parents, Scott and Kris Lawson of Philadelphia, TN; his

brother, Robert Lawson of Harriman, TN; and his sisters, Tyffanie Lawson of Wildwood, NJ,

and Nevah Lawson of Philadelphia, TN. He is also survived by his grandmother, Laura

McConnell of Wartburg, TN; his aunts Amy and Keri Hale of LaPorte, IN; his uncle, Paul

Lawson Jr. of Oliver Springs, TN; and his special aunt, Travis Hoffman, along with many

other family members and friends who cherished him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Home

from 11:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., with a procession to Ollis Cemetery, where a graveside

service will be held.

Dennis will be forever remembered for his warmth and the love he shared so freely.
