Mattie Lou Russell Davis Wyatt, age 90. Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded in love.

A life-long resident of Oliver Springs, born on October 11, 1935. After raising her 2 children she worked 2 jobs to put herself through nursing school. She worked for over 30 years at NHC in Oak Ridge, TN. She was known for her compassion and dedication to her patients and their families and was loved by all who was blessed to know her.

She loved watching dirt track racing and drawing but her greatest love belonged to her children and grandchildren who were blessed to call her mother and mamaw.

Mattie is preceded in death by parents Viola and Jim Russell, late husbands Charles Donald Davis and Donald Eugene Wyatt, and son-in-law Timothy Tucker.

She is survived by daughter Virginia (Timothy) Tucker and son Charles “Ricky” (Debbie) Davis. Brother Richard Russell. Grandchildren Rhiannon (Austin) Edwards, Tiffany (Todd) White, Jamee Tucker (and fiancé Rich Bohrman), nephew Michael Russell and niece Tracie (James) Turner. 6 grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a funeral service at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Cody Dikes officiating. Graveside will follow the funeral service at Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
