Sheriff Seeks Public Help Identifying Motorcyclist in Deputy Crash Investigation
Sheriff James Lee Berrong is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a motorcyclist who may have information about a crash involving BCSO Deputy Justin Mowery on Sunday afternoon.
What We Know: A Sheriff’s cruiser camera captured video of the motorcycle at 5:13 p.m. Sunday on Lane Drive in Friendsville. The deputy was responding to the crash involving Deputy Mowery, which had occurred moments earlier on Miser Station Road. The motorcyclist was seen driving through a field on Lane Drive toward U.S. Highway 321 West.
