Mary Bertha Collins, 76, of Spring City, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 after a brief illness at Methodist Hospital in Oak Ridge, TN.

She was born on June 10, 1949 in Harlan, KY. She was graduate of Harlan High School and Southeast Community College.

Mary is proceeded in death by her parents John W. Faulkner, Jr. and Pauline Fritts Faulkner and her daughter Shannon Morris and cherished sister-in-law Rita Faulkner.

Survivors include her beloved husband Thomas Collins, daughters Christy-Morris-Colley (Billy) and Sarah Collins Foley,  bonus daughter Charlene Peck, siblings John Faulkner, III and  Lynn Faulkner, 5 grandchildren, DJ Garrett (Melyni), Joshua Sellers (Gerad), Jessica Lheureux, MeleahHeightchew, Ally Foley, 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Her greatest love in life was her Baptist faith, being a Nanny to her grandchildren and great grandchildren many of whom were bonus family and brought her immense joy and pride. Her passion in life was caring for others and giving her whole heart to family and friends.

Her loves were her love of Christ, the beach in her happy place of Treasure Cay, Bahamas with her sister, lighthouses, reading and genealogy.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

A small family gathering will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Mary’s name to the American Heart Association www.heart.org
