Tammy Genice (Wheaton) Gilbert Beaty, 56

Tammy Genice (Wheaton) Gilbert Beaty, age 56, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 28, 2025, surrounded by her family.

 

Tammy was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter and sister, and a faithful servant of God. Her life reflected Christ’s love through her kindness, humility, and unwavering trust in the Lord. She found great joy in caring for others, offering encouragement, and sharing her faith through both words and actions.

 

Tammy faithfully served her community as a 911 operator for Fentress County, where she was a calm, compassionate voice during moments of crisis. Her dedication to helping others in times of need was a true reflection of her servant’s heart and deep sense of responsibility.

 

Outside of her work, Tammy found peace and joy in God’s creation. She loved gardening, camping, and especially taking rides in the country, where she enjoyed the beauty of nature and meaningful time with those she loved. Her home was filled with warmth, faith, and love, and time spent with family was her greatest blessing.

 

She is survived by her:
Loving Husband, Charles Beaty
Beloved Son, T.C. Gilbert
Daughters, Labriska Norris and husband Kent
Tasha Jeffers and husband Shawn
Grandchildren, Daniyel, Kalay, Jaden and Isaiah
Great Grandchildren, Ryleigh, Myah, Lyric and Raya
Parents, Boyd and Faye (Greer) Wheaton
Sister, Teresa (Wheaton) Woodruff and husband Michael
Many extended family and dear friends who were blessed by her life

 

She is preceded in death by her:
Grandparents, Elmer and Ellen Greer
Don and Dorothy Wheaton

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Allardt Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 1, 2026 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made towards funeral expenses. Donations can be left at Jennings Funeral Homes or mailed to the funeral home at P.O. Box 765, Jamestown, TN 38556.

 

The family finds comfort in knowing that Tammy is now at peace, rejoicing in the presence of her Savior. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” – Matthew 25:23
