JAMES L. GARRISON, age 81 died December 29, 2025 and was happily reunited with Jesus and his son Jason. He was born November 10, 1944 in Grandview, TN the son of Jimbo and Lillie Godsey Garrison.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years- Jennie Gilliam Garrison and daughter, whom he could have never done without- Ada Victoria and her husband Travis Reed. He is also survived by grandsons- Matthew Garrison and Tyler (Kim) Garrison, two great grandsons- Easton and Jackson Garrison, brothers- Bobby Garrison and Denny Garrison, sister- Junie Parker, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He also his leaves his beloved dog, Spot.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Jason Garrison, sisters- Nancy Barley and Christine Whittenburg and brothers- Virgil Garrison, Raymond Garrison and Toy Garrison.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday December 31, 2025 at 12noon EST at Reed Cemetery in Grandview, TN. Brother Hyle Waldo will officiate.
