Shelia Hood, age 61, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 30, surrounded by her loved ones.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mamie Johnson, and her sister, Linda Moore.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Boots Hood; her children, Renee Hood, Ashley Shuler (husband Travis), and Charlie Harmon; and her cherished grandchildren, Marley, Mason, Ella, and Hunter. She is also survived by her siblings, Geneva Murray and Willie Johnson, along with extended family and friends who will deeply miss her.

The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.

Donations in Shelia’s memory may be made to Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN to assist the family with expenses.

Shelia will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the lasting impact she had on all who knew her.
