THOMAS LEROY OLMSTED age 65 of Sparta, TN passed away January 14, 2026. He was born January 30, 1960 in Pontiac, MI the son of Roy D. and Anita Bush Olmsted. He was a carpenter in the construction industry for many years. He had a tremendous love for his family, especially his precious grandchildren and treasured the time spent with them.

He is survived by his children- Alicia Brown and her husband Dustin of Crossville, TN and Kyle Olmsted of Sparta, TN, brothers- Gene Flury and his wife Bonnie of Crossville, TN and Bill Olmsted of Crossville, TN, sisters- Sherry Netskhe and Diane Sutherland and her husband Brian all of Crossville, TN and grandchildren- Nevaeh Brown, Heaven Brown, Haylee Brown, Kander Olmsted and Sarea Olmsted.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather- Eugene Flury and stepson- Thomas Pruyt.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday January 22, 2026 at 4pm at Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church.
