Betty Ann Daugherty Lawson, 73
Betty Ann Daugherty Lawson, age 73, of Kingston, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home. She was born September 2, 1952 in Oliver Springs and was the youngest of 9 children born to the late Hooper & Dola Lowe Daugherty. Betty was a graduate of Coalfield High School. She retired after working 30 years at ORNL where she started as a Laborer and worked her way up to Material Clerk. She volunteered at the KUMC Clothes Closet in Kingston and rarely ever missed a yard sale. Betty attended The Grove Church in Kingston and never met a stranger. Preceded in death by her parents, Hooper & Dola Lowe Daugherty; brothers, Lowell, J.C., Truman, and Paul Daugherty.
