Margaret Gail Wigner–, age 91, of Fairfield Glade, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, at the Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing.

Margaret (Peg) was born on April 17, 1934, and raised in Pontiac, Michigan, the daughter of Michael and Jean (Lucas) Becker, she was a graduate of Pontiac Central High School. After high school, she married Max G. Wigner, and together, they raised their family in Waterford, Michigan. While raising their six children, Margaret enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, sewing, crossstitch, and knitting. She later also found joy in working in her yard, quilting, shopping, and spending time and golfing with her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her children: Karen (Dan) Bonsall of Marquette, Michigan; Greg Wigner of Waterford, Michigan; Karla Wigner of Crossville, Tennessee; and Geoff (Beth) Wigner of Gallatin, Tennessee. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Scott, Shelly, Robbie, Aaron, Brett, Autumn, Ashley, Amanda, Ryan, Rachel, Nicole, Kyle, 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and beloved dog Trixie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gordon Wigner, and daughter Kari (Bruce) Jones.

Private burial services for Margaret are scheduled for the family on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Crossville City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hilltoppers,  Inc., 86 Duer Ct, Crossville, TN 38555, or the American Cancer Society. The Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, Crossville, Tennessee, is serving the family where condolences may be expressed online.
